Typeface
TWK Lausanne is an approachable sans serif typeface. The open and monoweight letterforms make it easy to read and easy to use.
The multiple weights available give the typeface a great amount of flexibility. Font pairings and asymmetric layouts provide structure and hierarchy that is appealing and straightforward.

Typeface alternative
DM Sans is a typeface available through Google Fonts that is a comparable alternative to the brand font TWK Lausanne. This typeface is static as well as variable and can be used in all Google platform products as well as in Adobe Creative Suite.

Color
Primary palette
This is the primary Spotter color palette. Buttermilk is the most used color. It is the main background used across all platforms and promotional materials with Pepper being the main copy color. Our Primary Accent color, Clementine, is used sparingly throughout layouts; as CTAs, a color bar at the top of a layout, or in another purposeful way.

Image container
To create an ownable look for visual media, a variable graphic framing device was developed. The frame marries the Creator’s content to the Spotter visual system without altering it from its original intent.
The frame, or container, can be applied to still photography, gifs, and full length videos. Each frame shape is created to best fit the content it will contain. The cropped shape of the containers give images a sense of forward momentum and elevation.
Single cut
There are 3 diagonals the corners can be cropped along. Always use one of the following angles: 25°, 45°, or 65° Only the top left and bottom right corners will be cropped. Each corner will use a different angled cut. Be sure the cut never reaches the horizontal mid-line of the image.

Double cut
“Double Cuts” are an additional frame to be used when the image or layout requires another shape. The same cropping rules apply along with an extra rule: Double Cuts from the top must start with the larger angle. Double Cuts from the bottom always start with the smaller angle.
Creator profile

Color-pop frame
In the rare case of a fully white or lightly toned image background, there is an option to include a border to help distinguish the frame from the layout background. The Primary Accent Color, Clementine, will be used on top left of the frame. The color-pop on the frame should be used limitedly. Overuse will negatively affect from the overall impact of the system.

Including Creators’ profile images and information in the Spotter ecosystem is a great way to elevate the collaboration.
Using the image container for the Creator profile image is a great way to include them with the brand while paying respect to their unique branding and identity. A simple typographic caption with clear hierarchy finishes the overall look.
